We're throwing our annual Big Damn Party Wednesday, Nov. 23rd to kick off the Thanksgiving Holiday. There will be Silent Disco and a One-of-a Kind Burlesque Show--a holiday tradition not to be missed. Its a long weekend in with family, come party with us first. No Cover!

The TC Ale Trail, Michigan Hop Alliance, MI Local Hops, Drink My Brewcast and Create TC are happy to announce the Third Annual IPA Challenge!
The IPA challenge is a local competition between eight Traverse City breweries. Each brewery will produce their “Best IPA” and submit it for the event. 200 beer lovers will have the opportunity to get tickets and be a judge and choose their favorite brew. All tasting will be blind. Ticket holders will know the description of the beer, ABV, and other facts, but the brewery will remain confidential. At 9pm an awards ceremony will take place. The winning brewery will take home a trophy and the privilege of saying their brewery has “The Best IPA in Traverse City”
Troy Daily, co-founder of the TC Ale Trail™ is excited about the event “The IPA Challenge has become an exciting and friendly competition. It's really great to see the breweries coming together and showcasing their individual styles, bringing their best."
All eight Traverse City breweries are participating in the event including; The Filling Station Microbrewery, The Workshop Brewery, Brewery Ferment, North Peak Brewing Company, Old Mission Beer Co.(at Jolly Pumpkin), Brewery Terra Firma and Right Brain Brewery. Rare Bird Brewpub has a limiting license and will be collaborating with The Filling Station to brew an IPA just for the event.
There will be VIP tickets available. This will guarantee you a seat, table service, snacks and other amenities. Limited seats are available!

Join us for the inaugural "Traverse the City" scavenger hunt, a FREE family-friendly affair that will be an exciting way to explore Traverse City in a new way.
Life and Whim and The Little Fleet are teaming up to plan a hunt that will enable friends and family - especially kids - to get outside, meet new people and learn some interesting historical facts about Traverse City.
Complete the scavenger hunt at any time between 1-4 p.m. (we expect it to take approximately 1 hour). After the hunt, meet for drink specials at the after-party at The Little Fleet until 4 p.m. (it's best to start the hunt early so there's time to enjoy the after-party)!

We are partnering up with the Dennos Museum on our 2nd Annual Hot Art Live Event. Artist will be creating live on site throughout the day. In addition to live art, we'll also be hosting a DJ spinning vinyl and interactive/hands on art activities. This FREE event will run all day from 11am to 10pm.

Join us as we celebrate the release of some very special LIMITED EDITION LITTLE FLEET SHIRTS. We'll be kicking off the release of these t-shirts with a special party with the artist. DJ Giant Smiles will be spinning vinyl and artists will be on hand to talk about their work and selling other works. Here's a bit more about the tees:
The Little Fleet Limited Edition Artist Shirts: a new collection of limited edition t-shirts featuring designs by Northern Michigan artists. The new collection is being produced in association with Tee See Tee and features original artwork. The shirts will be for sale while supplies last. A portion of each sale will be given back to the artist.
Jesse Jason is an artist who works mostly with oil paints and occasionally mixed media. His latest series is an attempt to capture a particular visceral feeling without the aid of any recognizable subject matter, or even a well structured composition. In doing so, Jesse hopes to give the viewer an ephemeral visual experience that is able to present something new with each viewing. Jesse’s work has appeared in various shows in Chicago, Portland, Lansing, Saginaw and Traverse City.
Micah Middaugh is a visual artist and printmaker, and the lyricist and guitarist of the band Breathe Owl Breathe- often described as childlike, timeless and whimsical. The music of Breathe Owl Breathe has always been steeped in magic. Their songs seem to occupy that hazy space between wakefulness and dreaming—where the tangible, earthly world meets the transcendental. With Breathe Owl Breathe, Micah has recorded five albums, released a children’s book, and logged several cross-country tours.
Courtney Michalik is director of photography for The Compass Points Here. A graduate of University of Michigan’s School of Art & Design, BFA. She was co-curator of the “Wildhearted” exhibition at Crooked Tree Art Center, Traverse City. Courtney lives in Traverse City, Michigan where she works documenting weddings, creating content for editorial pieces, and creates and sells one of a kind artworks.
Brianne Farley is an author/illustrator. She grew up in Northern Michigan where she learned to sing with whales, build pirate ships, and draw. One day, she hitched a ride on a polar bear and wound up in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she earned her BA in Creative Writing from Macalester College. Soon after, she migrated south to the Savannah College of Art and Design where she earned her MFA in Illustration. Her illustration work has appeared in the New York Times, McSweeney’s, This American Life, and The Rumpus. She has authored and illustrated two children’s books Ike’s Incredible Ink and Secret Tree Fort.
